The Q-Fire helmet, with the shell made of tough polyamide. Weights only 960 grams (excl. Visor and Neck Protector). It offers exceptional wearing comfort with fresh air ventilation and unobstructed hearing. The helmet incorporates Turn-lock fasteners for all head sizes and is certified to EN 443.
Q-Fire helmet provides all-round protection, with excellent shock absorbant qualities. helmet protects the wearer from temperatures of 1700 C for a full fifteen minutes. helmet is fitted with extensive internal support, a disk-fit system and a quick release device. The protective neck guard is made of the Q-Fire heat reflective material.
Outer shell: Tough polyamide material with a smooth surface. No external protrusions or raised edges.
Inner shell: Made of a non-conductive heat resistant material which shields the wearer from electric shocks and radiant heat and which can absorb considerable energy from impacts.
The Visor together with the neck guard shields the whole of the face and sides of the head and protects against penetration by flames, sparks and chemicals. All known types of breathing apparatuses can be worn under the visor and there is room to wear ordinary spectacles. .
